Welcome. I’m happy you here.
Beth Sanders
Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC)
Hi! I’m Beth Sanders.
As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), my goal is to help individuals achieve a more empowered and fulfilling life. I provide a safe, judgment-free space where individuals between the ages of 20+ can work through a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues, life transitions, and grief.
I am passionate about listening to others’ stories and empowering them to take charge of their lives. My ultimate aim is to help my clients become self-sufficient and confident in navigating life’s many challenges.
When my clients feel empowered and able to take charge of their lives, that’s when I know I’ve made a truly transformational positive impact.
My Background
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2012 and went on to receive my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2014.
Since relocating to Washington in 2019, I have been privileged to work with young adults experiencing life transitions, as well as those facing relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. My approach is gentle, empowering, and compassionate, as I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported in their journey toward healing.
As Seattle’s best dog aunt, Beth loves being outdoors, camping, backpacking, traveling, and exploring, and eating string cheese like it’s nobody’s business!
My Approach to Therapy
I approach therapy with a collaborative and person-centered perspective, tailored to your unique needs and goals. By incorporating solution-focused techniques, I aim to empower you to make positive changes in your life.
I value transparency and open communication, regularly sharing my thoughts and ideas on treatment and progress to help you feel more confident and self-assured outside of our sessions.
My greatest goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Together, we will build a relationship grounded in compassion and understanding, as we work towards your journey to healing.
It’s important to find a therapist that’s a good fit. Let’s chat!

What you can expect from our first session
As your therapist, my role is to support you through the challenges and difficult emotions that arise throughout life’s journey.
It’s okay to feel overwhelmed or uncertain, and I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone.
Together, we will work closely to identify any barriers that may be hindering your progress and find ways to overcome them.
My goal is to help you feel empowered and to equip you with an array of tools and techniques that you can apply outside of our sessions. By working collaboratively, we will find what works best for you and create a personalized approach that meets your unique needs and goals.
My hope is that you feel safe and supported in our sessions and that our work together fosters a sense of self-awareness, self-compassion, and personal growth.
If you’re interested in seeing if we’d be a fit for working together, feel free to book a 15-minute free phone consult to ask whatever other questions you may have.
